How do clients buy a gift card?
From your gift card page, the Gift cards tab on your booking page, or your DetailPilot website. They pick an amount and a design, add the recipient's name and a message, choose when it is sent, and pay online.
How is the gift card delivered?
By email, right away or on the date the buyer picks, at 9:00 AM in your time zone. The recipient gets a link to their card with the code and the remaining balance. Clients can also buy a card for themselves.
How do clients use their gift card?
They enter the code when they book online or pay an invoice or payment link from you. The balance is applied automatically, any difference is paid by card, and whatever is left stays on the card for next time.
Do gift cards expire?
No, DetailPilot gift cards never expire. Sales are final and cards cannot be exchanged for cash, so there are no refunds to manage.
Can I sell or give a gift card in person?
Yes. Create a card from your dashboard for an in-person sale, a goodwill gesture or a contest prize. Email it now, schedule it, or hand over the code yourself.
What happens if a buyer disputes the payment?
The card is frozen automatically, so its balance cannot be spent on a payment you might lose. The full history of every card stays visible in your dashboard.
Which plan includes gift cards?
Gift cards are included in the Pro and Business plans, and your 14-day trial is on Pro, so you can start selling right away. Online sales need a connected Stripe account, and the money is paid straight into it.
